Is using Cheat Engine to add credits in Single Player liable to get someone banned?

The title is the question; is using an .exe editor to change the amount of credits I have in singleplayer bannable, or not? I've heard that modifying single player isn't bannable but many people have...

    Single Player mods/cheats are fine.


    Multiplayer cheats are liable to get you banned when caught.

I have been using CE to increase my credits / resources since launch. I also modified game war assets via my savegames. It's perfectly fine to do that.

Do NOT use CE in multiplayer.Do NOT modify your ini files for MP cheating. You *will* get caught and banned.

Single player, fine

Multiplayer, bad.

Should I worry about being connected to the internet or is that not a problem? I still don't really trust EA when it comes to this stuff.

    For single player, no, not at all.

      As mentioned above, BW/EA have no issues with mods in single player.

      Multi-player is a BIG no no.
