Lost Achievements

Have you tried to start another Multiplayer match on the Laptop (it doesn't need to be played, just maybe start a private match an leave). This way, the achievements are updated with the online N7HQ (just make sure you have all the free Multiplayer DLC installed on the laptop as well).

I wasn't game to get the laptop to 'sync' with origin in case I lost the achievements on there also. I've completed the game twice but only once on the laptop, my original run (didn't have the Citadel DLC or Leviathon on it) or my Insanity completion which to be honest is the only achievement I really care about. Although, when I play Multiplayer with all my achieves missing I have been kicked a few times before tha start of a match, based on my lack of achieves.

The reason I was using offline on the laptop was when I logged into Origin it was asking me to update the patch. As mentioned I'm not sure if somehow that patch was responsible or me getting into Multiplayer.

I can give it a go I suppose, losing the achives on there also isn't going to matter that much anyway, now that I have the list of the ones I've lost I suppose.

Nope, no good. As soon as I updated patch, then logged into ME3. I had the sync from cloud or sync from this computer option. Went witrh sync from this computer (figuring I can always sync back from desktop to cloud if fixed). Anyway, once the game was able to be open I went straight to ahcieves and they are now all gone on my laptop too. Other than the few I've re - achieved in Multiplayer before realising the issue.

This has to be something at their end involving the cloud sync. Worst part is now since the EA support staff online guy that walked me through who advised me to delete my Temp Files, when I import a character from ME2 now I dont even get the 1st achievement.

Actually just checked it seems to have added 4 achieves to the 10 I regained in Multiplayer, that still leaves me 40 odd short though.

DLC stuff is still DLing tho in the background. Will check back when complete and HOPEFULLY the kinks have been worked out. Will get back to you then.

The patch shouldn't have anything to do with it, only how the achievements are synchronised with your online profile which has since the MP DLC "Retaliation" been shifted to "N7HQ", which is tied to Multiplayer, this is why you have to connect to Multiplayer in order to synch your achievements.

It's always a good idea to backup your saves, especially if you play on two separate PCs with the same Origin ID, as the cloud save tends to completely overwrite saves when prompted to restore saves from the cloud instead of just adding them to the existing ones.

Ok, so far on the N7 achievements tab its now showing 40/69 instead of the 10/69 its been showing, hasn't changed the achievement number next to the trophy symbol beside my N7 rating (number). Looks like some form of progress on the laptop anyway.

I haven't used the laptop to play since my original playthrough. Just went back to see what it had on there. So looking like it will show all the achievements gained on the laptop, now to try and get the ones from the desktop which has my Insanity achieve, plus the citadel ones as well.

Best of luck - as long as you have Retaliation installed there it should also update with N7HQ online once you get into Mutliplayer, maybe load a save from your original Insanity Playthrough beforehand, jsut to be sure.

Anyway, you know how I can check if I have retaliation on the Laptop. In the origin DLC part, states I own this, however on the page I have open listing the things I have downloaded it doesn't mention retaliation. only

Thanks so much for the advice, once the DL has finished and I get back on the desktop. Hopefully everything is as it should be and I'll fix up this as resolved with credit to you.

So close, yet so far away. /sigh.

So I went to desktop and opened ME3 with data saved on Desktop. Straight up it had all the achieves from laptop, plus the citadel ones, but no Insanity for some reason (maybe becasue I have DL'd Leviathon since I completed it and the lost achieve now needs that to complete).

Anyway, was looking great. Then I opened my characters Insanity run, logged out and went back to Achieves and the achieves had been reset to 14/69. I closed ME3 several times.

Multiplayer next then back to Achieves, still 14/69. Shut down, then opened

a 2nd character, then back to achieves, same deal 14/69.

So 3 attempts after 1st opening desktop ME3 and all of them reset the achieves after it looked like they had been fixed when I 1st opened the desktop Achieve list.

Then, went back to laptop figuring I would start process from the laptop saves, however this time, I never got asked to sync and when I opened the laptop the achieves where 14/69. After further investigation the characters from the desktop are now on the laptop, which I didn't actually transfer (the clouds done that without giving me the option) and now both laptop and desktop have lost all my achieves.

I thank you for  your time and help, however, it looks like it's got something to do with the cloud saving and not recognising my completed games.

I'm sorry, it didn't work for you, how cloud saves across different PCs are handled really is a mess and on top of that N7HQ doesn't really seem to be able to cope with this in terms of tracking your achievements. Once done they should remain untouched server-side.Did you have a look at the N7HQ here how many of your achievements are recorded online?

Maybe a developer from the BSN can help you, usually they mostly help with Multiplayer issues, but the achievement issue is tied to the N7HQ, which is a Multiplayer feature. Here is a thread with all the information: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/343/index/16080195
