Mass Effect - odd language question

Okay, here it is... Numerous times in this forum, I've seen the name for the game referred to as "Quality Effect".  Like here.  The Q: why? I'm guessing it is some odd translation bug.  Either that...

Haha, no idea. Maybe it's a Google Translate thing. Maybe Mass Effect has a localized title somewhere that translates back to English as Quality Effect.

@Fred_vdp Yeah, I tried various google translate searches with "quality" and "mass" in various languages. No luck. So I figured I'd directly ask here where I've seen it a few times 🙂
