Mass effect 1 Code Registration issues

So i bought a mass effect trilogy bundle and i download all the games and try to run mass effect 1 will not work so to check if my bundle is bunk i try to run the other 2 and they both start up fine but for the life of me i cannot get mass effect 1 to work at all.

So i have downloaded the 1.02 patch i ran as administrator i ran in windows XP. Now i can get to a pop up screen asking for my registration codes and i input my product key and does not work.  So i call up EA support and they asked a bunch of questions gave me a new key tried to have me delete my registry for the game still nada. 

Now i ask you People of the Mass Effect forum got any idea's because to be honest with you im fresh out and id prefer not to spend another 5 bucks on the genesis thing for mass effect 2 if at all possible considering i have the game.

Sorry if i seem abit short right now but i have been trying everything i got for the last 2 days.
