Mass Effect 1 no Product Code.

So I bought Mass Effect 1 on the black Friday sale. And I cannot get it to launch. I've tried changing the compatibility to XP SP 3, Vista SP 2, even tried running both Origin and the MassEffect.exe file in Admin. Nothing worked. I tried to install the 1.02 patch and that didn't work either. It kept saying "Mass Effect was not installed." It was saying this because I do not have a product code for my copy of Mass Effect. I verified this by looking at my game details. There is no code. I tried to do the live chat but my advisor "Dheeraj" acknowledge my issue of not having the code then began to go through his pre set list of fixes to try and solve my problem. All I want is fro someone to acknowledge my problem and acknowledge I know what I'm talking about and help me.
