Community Admin@crackersnjam If you include your dxdiag and an exact description of how the issue is happening, as well as listing any troubleshooting steps already taken, it should help with moving forward with this.
I understand you're frustrated, but the more pertinent info we have, the easier it should be to take a look at this.
Sorry about not responding sooner been fairly busy
I first did a fresh reinstall of my OS then proceeded to reinstall every program I had
I hit the "play' button directly from Origin, it makes the title cover slightly opaque the game doesn't launch, it shows up as a task in Windows Task Manager as active for about 5-10 sec. and then ceases. I've tried reinstalling Origin then re-installing Mass effect 2 even renaming the .exe like mentioned in a few other methods of fixing the game from not launching.

What happens if you launch the game from the EXE directly? Did you tray to launch the game as an Administrator?
Yeah... plus compatibility mode on windows 7 origin and everything else too. so pretty much tried everything I could.
Did you tried this Mass-Effect-2-won-t-start solution?
