Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Crashes at extraction or when hitting 2 keys simultaneously

After updating the VAIO laptop I've been using to game lately, I'm finding that Mass Effect will crash consistantly on extraction; prior to seeing the leaderboard screen. It also has occasion to crash if I hit escape whilst also doing something else at the same time (i.e. dodging). 

The game black screens with a Windows error message stating "Mass Effect 3 has stopped working".

The only fix I've come across that seems to be suited to my issue was a configuration within the Nvidia control panel, which I do not have, as this laptop uses an intigrated Intel chip.

(Before I'm chided for using a laptop that doesn't agree with the system specs, I'll point out I have had absolutely no problem playing prior to this.)

Using Widnows 7, 64bit, 6gb RAM, Intel(R) Core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz if it's of any help. Went through the VAIO update panel and downloaded/installed nearly every update from the past year.. I thought it might be a laptop hotkey issue causing collisions and crashing the game, but I have sinced removed such software (that was installed with the update), to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated, even if it doesn't tailor to my specific crash scenario... Anyone else getting "Mass Effect 3 has stopped working"?
