Since EA has decided to shut down Origin and forced the dreaded and inferior in functionality EA App on us and since it will be officially the only way to play Mass Effect from April 2025 we need to have a way to invite people to game from elsewhere, not just from the lobby.

Just today I played with a friend. Their game crashed twice in two matches and I have been unable to invite them back forcing me to abandon the match twice and return back to lobby so I can re-invite them.

We need to be able to invite people from friends list and from the chat and in-game overlay like we used to. Also, they should be able to join our game on their own like they could with Origin. Unless we get that people will simply stop playing -- matchmaking is already flaky enough as it is.

As for the loot drop rates this is a server-side change -- they could simply set price of all packs to 0 credits (or 1 credit if it can't be zero) if they are too lazy to edit a couple of weights for random generator.

@EA_Shepard I understand that, 100%.  However, wouldn't it be such a minor change, that it'd only take a few minutes to parse through?

@Egotte I have the conversations all the time. I am glad that players still play it, The MP is a great game to enjoy with others.

At the moment, there won't be any tweaks, though. With DA and the ME series happening, the MP isn't really something that will get updated unless something breaks and players cant get in.

Although I would love to see tweaks happen myself, at this current stage, we have to play as is.
