Mass Effect 3 N7 Digital Deluxe Edition DLC's and online pass issue!

Hi everyone! New user here!

First of all, don't get scared if I make a severe typo or anything. I'm from Spain and my knowledge of English is not the best 🙂

I recently bought Mass Effect 3 N7 Digial Deluxe Edition through Steam, but I have an issue with the DLC's. Whenever I launch the game, the game says it was unable to authorize the listed DLC's and it seems I can't redeem or buy the online pass (even though I'm supossed to've bought it).

If I click on redeem or buy the online pass, I get a message that says I need an online pass to acess to online functions. Same thing when I try to access to the multiplayer.

I've tried to to contact with several EA support agents to try and get this resolved but I just give up. There was not enough communication or understanding.

There's any solution? Pls help

  • @C0oper02 They should all show as a standard and no longer what they were before. The studio updated the series on the backend. I took a look at your account again and from an account side, you should not get that error. This means that there is something local stopping you from connecting. When you download the game, and all the DLC, it should connect automatically if the registry key matches the one you downloaded through Steam.

That is different than the DLC since the DLC was free. You may have to do some PC cleanup. I know these have been performed, but with changes with any updates on the account side, you have to make sure

    A. the right accounts ae linked in EA.com
    B. The installation of the game and DLC are good.

    • Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
    • EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)

    Delete Windows Temp Files

    • First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
    • Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
    • Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
    • Delete everything it allows you to delete
    • Reboot the PC

    Optional Registry clean-up

    • install CCleaner (it's free) from here
    • Run Registry cleaner
    • Click review selected issues
    • Do you want to back up? No
    • Click Fix all selected issues

    Delete EA License Files:

    • Make sure the EA app is closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER.
    • Enable View Hidden Files and Folders
    • Delete all files in the "License" folder.

  • @EA_ShepardI reinstalled ME3 and EA App. Didn't work at all :/

As a side note, I've noticed that in the EA App I get 'Access to Standard Edition' (I've attached a screenshot, although it's in Spanish). I don't know if it's important since I bought the N7 Digital Deluxe Edition.
