Mass Effect legendary Edition failing to launch

After the new EA launcher update on the 27th MELE is failing to launch. I cannot launch it from the launcher (ironic) and launching it from steam gives me an error. Please anyone help it worked befor...

    This issue is solved. I reverted back to origin now it works fine as before.

Hi, 

I'm not sure what happened or why, but there was a step on another thread that seems to have helped - going into Region / Administrative Tools in Windows and checking 'Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support' I did that, rebooted, and MELE is launching as expected, My language/location has always been English/US so I'm not sure what that had to do with anything, anyway I'm good now, thanks for your time, appreciate it
