Mass Effect Missing Insanity 2 Achievement

Question

I got insanity 1 just buy switching from casual to insanity just before fighting Saren I tried it again but couldn’t get insanity 2

i then imported a save and did new game+ this time with insanity difficulty ( I changed it before landing on Eden prime )&nbsp;

got to the end and killed saren and it still didn’t unlock insanity 2

am I missing something or do I have to complete mass effect 2 on insanity to get insanity 2 achievement ??

This achievement is&nbsp;unlocked by beating any of the 3 games on Insanity after having already beaten one of them on Insanity. I have heard of numerous people, myself included, who didn't get this achievement after finishing Mass Effect 2 on Insanity.This is as per TrueAchievements

&nbsp;There is a workaround on this thread
