Intel has close to zero concern or interest in the needs of game players. You should expect just what you have gotten from their product. Sorry, but next time look for graphics from a real professional supplier, either AMD or nVIDIA.

Portal runs on the Source engine, which is quite different from Unreal Engine 3, which Mass Effect runs on. As mentioned above, the Mass Effect games don't run on Intel graphics. It at least starts the games in some rare cases, but not without horrible slowdown and artifacts.

Oh huh! Didn't know that...I was using Portal as a point of comparison just because it's the newest game I have on here...
