Mass Effect Trilogy Installation when all three games are already installed on PC.

Here's the deal...

I already have Mass Effect,Mass, Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 installed and I recently purchased the Mass Effect Trilogy.

I already know that these will not affect my saved games in that they can be used with with theis set of games.

My question is, however, is there a way to enable the included DLC in the trillogy for the earlier games I don't have the DLC for?

I really don't want to spend two or three hours re-installing games just to enter the code so that I can downloade the DLC.

EDIT: Okay, went through from the beginning on setting up ME 3 Trilogy, added code first and and now everything appears to be installing correctly at this time

  • Yes, up and running very well.

Process for clean install on a PC with ME Trilogy (single code):

    1. After making backups of your current saved games files, uninstall your currently installed games. ME 1 will ask if you wish to delete or keep your saved games, I suggest keeping them. ME 2 and 3 automatically kept them on my system.

    2. Redeem Code at Origin: the three new versions will show up in Origin as NEW once your code is confirmed.

    3. Install the entire series from CDs:

Note that all previous DLC already purchased will be also be installed along with any new ones you didn't have included on the CD (it will not create any duplicate installations).

Heads Up on install times: The process does take anywhere from 2-3 hours or more
