Mass effect wont launch wont launch from origin but 2 and 3 will?

so i bought the special edition mass effect trilogy at future shop. i installed all 3 in order on my pc. i had all 3 working fine yesterday but now the 1st one doesnt want to launch im re installing ...

Easy fix, no need for all of these downloads.  

Go in to your origingames/MassEffect

open your binaries folder

Right click on the MassEffect.exe and go to properties

go to the compatibility tab

make sure to check "Run in compatibility mode" for Windows XP Service pack 3

click apply and close tab

Open your game, it will work fine now
