mass effect1 to masseffect2

hey, I have no ideas that what After I finished the whole story if Mass effect1 .In the start of Mass efffect2 , I can find any save file of ME1, making me cannot import the charcter from ME1 to ME2 .Please I need an answer!!!!!!!!:robotmad:
