ME2 Graphics Problems

I've think i've found a really annoying bug with ME2.  I've been playing ME1 with absolutely no problems, whatsoever, however when i tried to load ME2, the screen flickers black (like its loading) then goes completely blue.  Half of the screen (the LHS) shows a *heavily* blue tinted (and squashed) version of the game, the RHS is just blue (completely).  It starts like that as soon as I launched ME2 and continues even when you start the game.

Any ideas of how to remedy this?  Someone (on Steam) recommended verifying integrity of game files, which I've done (twice) and still no joy, ME2 seems to be a little...broken.  Any other suggestions?

  • Hey, @Eschat make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

@EA_Atic I check windows drivers (they're up-to-date) and I also tried reinstalling my GPU drivers, and a clean boot, however there was still the same problem (albeit with a black RHS of the screen instead of blue)

If you full install the EA play app And reinstall it could fix it. It did for me.
