ME3 - Can no longer force Antialiasing with Nvidia 314.07 drivers

Hi - Nvidia has a guide on their site covering how to enable better AA in-game using Nvidia inspector http://www.geforce.com/optimize/guides/mass-effect-3-tweak-guide#8

This doesn't seem to work with 314.07 drivers, clean install, rebooted. Using an EVGA GTX 680 with Win8 x64. After following Nvidia's optimision guide for ME3, i can't get any of the AA settings to override the in-game settings. I'm using Nvidia inspector (see image for settings below) and the game just reverts to AA being disabled but still with the performance hit as if my extra settings were applied (i.e. frame drop from 120+ fps to 50-60). AA is disabled in-game (as required) but I can't for the life of me work out why it won't work. Would be very grateful if anyone could offer some suggestions - thanks.

Edit: I've tried just using one setting - i.e. Multisampling 4x to no avail. ME3 just seems to ignore everything but still takes a performance hit. Does anyone know if Nvidia has disabled this functionality with the latest drivers?
