Re: Cloud saves ate my local saves

@NorthernArtemis

You can of course try, but this saves are in a unique file format, so it is very unlikely that a file recovery program could put them back into a working order.

The only thing you can do to prevent such problems is to make a real, automated, back up of your save files.

The cloud is a convenience system, completely inadequate for a backup solution.

  • @holger1405 Ok, appreciate the help! Just the button to restore is grayed and there’s something there, but appreciate anything regardless. (via Origin)

    @holger1405 Also a final thing to mention, I edited my local saves with a save editor. That’s why I had said that it asked me a couple times about my saves. I’ve always said my most recently timed local saves though, if that makes a difference.

    The only thing that I can find also to any form of my files when trying recovery are .lnk files, which I know also probably won’t help.
