Community Admin@JulianSchl Hi, can you try Windows XP Service Pack 3 Compatibility mode?
Past this can you try going to your Origin Games > Mass Effect > Binaries and launching the Mass Effect config program, perhaps that'll give info on the sound setup.

Wenn nach den Vorschlägen von EA_David das Spiel immer noch keinen Ton haben sollte probiere bitte folgendes:
Starte das Spiel, im Startbildschirm > Optionen > Einstellungen > Ton, wenn der Hardwaresound aktiviert ist, deaktiviere in und umgekehrt. Beende das Spiel und starte es neu.
if the game still has no sound after you tried @EA_David suggestions, try this:
Go to the in game settings > Start screen > Options > Settings > Sound, if Hardware sound is enabled, disable it and vice versa. Shut down the game and restart the game.
