Re: mass effect 3 Galactic readiness

Galactic readiness is the multiplayer component of ME3 to single player readiness.  If you play multiplayer you will get a raise in readiness in whichever area you complete a mission in, and the  amount of raise depends on difficulty of the game you played(bronze, silver, gold, platinum).  Before the final patches and DLC you couldn't get the "best" ending without playing some multiplayer, but afterwards you can get all endings by just playing the single player game.  If you play multiplayer you don't actually have to do as much to get the endings because you raise readiness and thus have to collect less to get the ending of choice.

If you have done everything, saved everyone, found everything, you should have around 4k pts and thus be able to do any ending you wish.

So to raise that readiness, play multiplayer and win games...but if you don't play that readiness will decay back to 50% again over time....I personally just ignore it and play on....

There used to be an iPad app that allowed players to increase galactic readiness, which meant iPad owners could also get all ending variations without playing multiplayer. That app is now browser based and can be found here: http://n7hq.masseffect.com/galaxy_at_war/
