Re: No Mass Effect 2 configuration utility.

Um, what if you don't have a Mass Effect 2 folder at all? I've looked under this address, E:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games,

but there is nothing for Mass Effect 2. Its gone. I can launch the game just fine, but now I can't install the ENB or nothing.

    My "Mass Effect 2" folder is in the "Program Files (x86)" folder itself.

    I've looked there too, nothing. When I search Mass Effect 2 in search bar on the start menu, nothing appears. I don't know what to do.

    My Start menu search did the same thing when I did a search for "MassEffect2Config.exe" and I copied the name of the program directly before searching. I was able to use the search function though, here are the steps I took:

    1. Click the start button.
    2. Copy "MassEffect2Config.exe" into the search box.
    3. Click "See More Results".
    4. Click "Custom..."
    5. Select the drives you wish to search. (I selected "Computer".)
    6. Wait.

    @Official_Zole

    The game starts ans runs normally?

    Do you have a "Documents\BioWare" folder at all? If yes is the "Mass Effect" (For ME1) folder in there?

    If you start a new gamey, can you save?

    I've been playing it for the past week and the saves I've made are there in the documents but all my mass effect 1 saves are where they should be in my c driver under programmed games, still got no idea what's going on with this

    @Official_Zole

    Your ME1 saves should be under "C:\Users\>your username>\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\save" (Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\save)

    Are they in this folder?

    @Official_Zole

    You started ME2, created a new game and saved once?

    Is there a "Mass Effect 2" folder under "C:\Users\>your username>\Documents\BioWare\"? (Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2)

    @holger1405I followed your directions for importing ME1 saves to ME2, but it doesn't work and it is driving me crazy. I also have no MassEffect2Launcher.exe file in my Binaries in my program files. I play via Origin and have repaired the game repeatedly, but nothing has worked

    Any other ideas on how to fix this mess?

    @DJLadywolf761

    Do you have a "C:\Users\>your username>\Documents\BioWare" folder?

    If so do you have a "Save" folder under  C:\Users\>your username>\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect" as well as under C:\Users\>your username>\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2"?

    If yes is the "ME1"  folder in the "C:\Users\>your username>\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\Save" folder?

    If you start a new ME2 game, can you save?

    @DJLadywolf761The game files (if you haven't changed from defaults) should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\Binaries

    Just run MassEffect2Config.exe to import saves.
