It sounds like there may be an issue with your most recent save. Can you try going to the load menu then choose the save that's 2nd from the top, then see if that lets you load in? Unfortunately we have some reports of saves becoming damaged, but hopefully loading an older one will let you continue without losing much progress.

i have had this issue and the saves are corrupt i had to go back a few saves and it finally loads for me. i try to save my game every hour and i also overwrite the save 2 or 3 times to make sure its good. so for anyone playing the game my best advise is save the game often so you wont have to back track too far. the first time i ran into this problem i had to go back almost 4 hours in order to find a good save point.

I habitually save (all my games) frequently, just in case, but hopefully this won't be needed soon.
