theres 4 types of glyph in that pussle cant have 2 of the same in any of the boxes

think of it like a game of sudoku just glyphs insted of numbers

Any 2 x 2 square on the grid may not contain the same symbol twice...

@CarstenV now I get it 🙂 you meant 2x2 boxes - they can't have the same symbol on them. Thank you for your help!!!!

I had failed to observe that the grid is marked that way. So I thought I had a viable row/column clear, but didn't realize the square mattered too. Well! That sure changes things a bit!

Not every puzzle has squares, but the areas are outlined.
