[Resolved] Mass Effect 3 MP Matchmaking Server Issues

Hey, @andy_3_913. Issues like this are more complex because we can test them and get the same result or match them just fine and cannot test them. We would need all of the Reddit players to post here so we can track that. 

I cannot escalate an issue to a random Reddit link. 

On a side note, I did look to see if there are any active issues, and there are not, so it may not have been reported to the team yet.

Once everyone posts here, I would need all of the following to have it reported:

Having the same issue.

Since yesterday the matchmaking does not find any other people to join you or vis versa.

Like nobody else would play.

I'm having the same issue. Tried all the usual game troubleshooting like resetting router, repairing game etc. The game itself launch and run totally without any issues. It is just that no friends can join any games.

This seems to be server side (EA) related as it affect multiple people now. Please reset the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer servers.

I doubt any system details play a role but here goes:

Same issue here. Last few weeks matchmakings been working great find games every few minutes. Starting Saturday 7/13/2024 can't find games. When I start searching just sits with the screen says looking for players. If I host games no one joins. Private games with friends still work for me as well as solo games. Given all the other reports on reddit and discord matchmaking seems to be broken.

One other thing I noticed is if you click on the DLC menu option it comes up with a EA app message instead of the normal in-game menu. Says in-game purchases are undergoing work or something like that. Not sure if this could be related or if it is a new thing as I never clicked that menu option before the issue started. 

For me it started like two days ago (on 14th july), I can not find any matches and no one can join the one I host as public game. I play:

• via EA App
• with the same user name as here on this forum
• use Windows 10
• in Europe (Poland).

As for the thing @PerluTheBold mentioned - DLC message is present in EA App since I started used it so I doubt it is related.

Just to confirm with the Matches - Private is okay, but public is what we are all having an issue with? 

Can you invite friends, or have friends invite you to a public match?

@Resztaczasu As for the DLC. i would go into the DLC folder and delete them all. Log back into the EA app or Steam and download them again. This would allow them all to be installed like normal and update the game.
