I have played the Sarissa choice the same way twice.....
As far as the Krogan and Raeka, I have played it both ways, and I am leaning towards always picking Krogan.....but it will probably be a choice I will decide when I get there each time.
A choice for the Krogans is a bit more complex but to me equally valid. First part, I can't allow the Kett to finish figuring out how to Exalt Krogans, it would make them too strong, as not only do they change the base race, but they also use the new DNA to modify ALL new Kett with upgraded traits from Exalted races. Thus letting them finish Krogans, would greatly strengthen ALL Kett in such a way to make winning long term harder. Second part is Raeka, IS A PATHFINDER...she SHOULD be able to handle most anything the Kett are sending after her, and would in fact face less trouble if I am currently acting as a decoy to forces by blasting away to get the Krogan, so I leave her to figure out how to escape with her people, and try to draw off forces and prevent the Kett from gaining a powerful weapon.
This to me isn't how people act later, and that never figures into how I will make a call. As far as the Krogan gloating.....well, they as a race have been pretty much treated as expendable grunts for a long time, their use is for their muscle as shocktroops, not for anything more.....while this is straight inline with their attitudes and abilities, it is also true that these things weren't altered but exploited by the Salarians with their uplifting and thus, totally the Salarians fault. It is also true, that the Krogans to me are less Gloating and more shocked that someone actually chose them over another race in a choice of who lives and who dies...
Edit: for sentence period, too much rambling train of thought....

SpoilerI choose to tell them what she did, but support her in keeping the Pathfinder job. I simply believe hiding the choice is wrong, and that she made the best choice of a crappy one she was presented. That data could have been immediately critically important and will be critically important long term in the fight against the Kett. This is the kind of decisions Pathfinders MUST make during their tenure deciding who must live or die, and leading the Initiative to the future. As far as the Krogan and Raeka, I have played it both ways, and I am leaning towards always picking Krogan.....but it will probably be a choice I will decide when I get there each time.
SpoilerA choice for Raeka, is simply the choice that a trained Pathfinder is worth more than Krogan scouts because a Pathfinder has such a huge upside in abilities and training. I assume that the SAM module for her can be recreated or put back together and thus she would be a fully functional Milky Way trained Pathfinder, which to me is almost worth any non-stupidly bad loss.

I'm a post tinkerer as well. Let us clink together our poorly rendered glasses of wine while we wonder where the vineyard that can yield enough grapes in 14 months from planting is located.🙂
You know they're going to make you face exalted Krogan whenever they want to regardless of what you do here. I know I shouldn't let that color my decision - but it does. It is a hard decision, and certainly can be justified and be a perfectly valid one either way.
