Terminus Gear DLC Validity

Question

I purchased a Mass Effect 2 Terminus Gear code several years ago but I am not sure if it has been used or not. I would like to give it as a gift to a friend of mine who is a huge Mass Effect fan and doesn't have the Terminus Gear Armor and Weapon set. Is there any way I can check to make sure that the code is still valid without actually redeeming it in the process? Thanks!

The Terminus Gear DLC does not appear on my Entitlements Page since I have not redeemed the codes for the Terminus Gear DLC personally. I bought the codes second-hand and I am concerned that the codes may have been redeemed by one of their previous owners. I would like to gift the codes to a friend but I would like to make sure that the codes are unused to avoid giving a useless and disappointing gift. Is there anyway I can verify that the codes have not been used other than redeeming the codes myself on my own Bioware Account?
