I don't mind waiting long for patches, as long as they are decente and work properly and don't reopen wounds and spills a plethora of new issues?
I would expect, either way, a bit of communication going to and fro. This is so like the last time I saw a franchise go down. Silence, silence, then a patch would come: lousy stuff. More silence, their blog stopped allowing posts: that alone spoke loads.
The sort of communication would point out what they were getting as priorities, probably listing a few things, checking back with players, see if there was anything to add at last moment's notice, see if it fits what they were currently thinking. Thinking ... *sigh*
Forget the next Patch ... give us a DLC! With a patch inside ...... 😉
