I have found all three engineers. However, one, Mendel, keeps saying that he hasn't been found. I have left the system, come back, found them all, and still it will not complete the third missing engineer part of the quest.
If I recall correctly, there are more dead bodies than you need. Make sure you actually found the 3 engineers instead of 2 engineers plus some random.
That's true. There are more bodies than 3 on the asteroid.
I have found all three bodies, but Mendel, the third engineer, is not registering as found. I've gone back to the body several times, and it still never registers as found.
Maybe you need to check the outposts, read logs etc.
Did them all. I could go back and do all of them again, and see what happens...
