I am also getting an error but when I do, it appears really fast within the game and then says I have been disconnected. It has happened to me and some of my friends when I host a session with them. Not all of us get disconnected though. What worked for us might have been a coincidence but I personally had to go into my router settings, enable “multicast v4” and i had to release/renew the DHCP reservation of my connection. After that and rebooting my console, we noticed this fixed the issue. Hope this helps you because this was super frustrating, especially for the Nike II crates as the games require us to hit 50 pts/win by 2
let me know if this works for you as it might be something else that was caused by update 1.05 or 1.06 as this never happens to me in any other game mode or any other game for that matter.
Not for me ☹️ I have 100mbps fiber LAN/wired connection to my PS4 pro I've tried changing the dns, configure my router and restart it to refresh, restart my PS4 pro and tried turn off my PS4 pro to rest and turn it on again and the freezing issue is still remains also tried going to safe mode rebuild database and still freezes. Freezes won't occur during when I first start up my PS4 pro in the morning and play the race to 50 but after a game or two my third run freezes would occur followed by the blue screen error CE-34878-0 so I'm wondering if nba live 18 demo cannot handle the PS4 pro heat all my library games can handle the heat of my PS4 pro the whole day and I'm also playing with cool aircon. I'm excited to pre order but this issue is what preventing me. I've tried reinstalling the game after freezes occur but I think the freeze worsen after reinstalling. All of my games library are doing okay I can play them the whole day without any problems but this nba live 18 demo I can only enjoy it about an hour or less and the freezes occurs it's sad I love this game but the freeze followed by the blue screen error is what preventing me to get this game. Need more solutions to try.. it's frustrating because my team is already winning then it suddenly freezes.

Hey @HaiHuat @UgotBAUERED
I researched the error code CE-34878-0 on the PlayStation Website and this is what I've found:
- Close the application, install the latest System Software and game updates and restart the system.
- If you have upgraded the Hard Disk Drive ("HDD") in your system, please re-install the original HDD.
- If the error occurs again, back up your saved data, and then go to [Settings] > [Initialization] and choose [Initialize PS4].
- If the error occurs with every application, or as soon as the application starts, please contact PlayStation Support.
Please let me know if these steps resolved your issue.

1. Close the application, install the latest System Software and game updates and restart the system.
-I have the latest system software and game updates
2. If you have upgraded the Hard Disk Drive ("HDD") in your system, please re-install the original HDD.-No I didn't upgrade my hdd. It's the original when I bought my PS4 pro.
3.If the error occurs again, back up your saved data, and then go to [Settings] > [Initialization] and choose [Initialize PS4].-I haven't tried this yet because it's only nba live demo that I'm experiencing freezing all my other games are okay.
4.If the error occurs with every application, or as soon as the application starts, please contact PlayStation Support.- only nba live 18 demo freezes and only in community live events the race to 50. The story mode is fantastic no lag or freezes. The race to 11 and live run are also okay. All my other games are ok didn't get the error CE-34878-0 error and this is the first game I'm getting it the error with nba live demo. Like I say I can play the race to 50 only when I first turn on my PS4 pro and play the race to 50 2 times until the end without freezing error but the third run the freezing error occur middle of the race to 50 game and the freezing continues not until I rest my PS4 pro.

Thanks for your comment @HaiHuat
However the error CE-34878-0, is a very specific issue from Playstation. I would recommend you try all the steps specified on my previous post, including "back up your saved data, and then go to [Settings] > [Initialization] and choose [Initialize PS4]."
On this thread of the PlayStation forums, it had been specified by a PlayStation advisor, that the error CE-34-878-0 is a well known error on PlayStation.
You can still try to clear your PS4's cache, then Uninstall/reinstall the game.
