This is known throughout community and devs have been made aware and mentioned they would address it. I just try just to view the rewards and see how many I need from crate and try not to move though them so I don't get stuck for a while. I also have a original ps4 console but I hear even ps4 pro have problems. Hopefully they will fix for Live 2020 it has to to do with the animation coding or engine that is to taxing on console. I don't know cuz in Live 2018 it was not a problem and I remember this lag since early in Live 2019.
Lag is on clothes, animations, shoes menus. Basically crates when opening and animations on settings for player animations
