NBA live 18 demo connectivity issues in Australia

NBA live 18 demo gets "matchmaking failed" error

I am at Adelaide Australia...any one have the same problem?

    Hello @cheng0802, @PaigeEM2002, @itrychicken, @g166o & @T-TDioRspenG,

    First of all I'd like to apologize for the late response here and the experience you've had with this demo, I can assure your that this wasn't our intention and that we would like to work out what's going on here. With that in mind would it be possible for you to get back to us with the information requested below. This should help us identify a common trend with the issues you are running into on your side of things. We appreciate your cooperation on this.

    Which feature / component / location in game are you experiencing issues with?

    • How often does the bug occur?
    • Every time (100%)
    • Often (50% - 99%)
    • Occasionally (10% - 49%)
    • Rarely (0% - 9%)


    Can you tell me if you are playing on a wired on wireless connection & provide us the details of your internet connection by doing the tests below:

    PlayStation:
    To test an Internet connection and display the results, select (Settings) > [Network] > [Test Internet Connection].

    Xbox:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select Network.
    5. Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
    6. Select Detailed Network Statistics.
    7. The results should appear in a few moments.

    Yep still a problem.

    EA dont care enough to even acknowledge it, so it wont effect me if its fixed or not in full game.

    Cos I aint buying it

    I think it happened after patch 1.04

    Im thinking about cancelling pre order. If they don't care about their connectivity issues then I don't care about their game.

    Hi there

    I am in Adelaide Australia and I don't think I am the only Aussie got affected

    1. Which feature / component / location in game are you experiencing issues with?

    Matchmaking in live event.

    2. How often does it happen?

    every time I tried since 19/08/2017.

    3. What connection I played on?

    wireless on playstation 4.

    4. Test connection on my system?

    I did the internet connection test and came out no issue.

    PS: In the game I can sign in EA account just have this "error occur when trying to connect to lobby" message every time

    Thanks for taking the time to get back to us and for sharing the results of your findings with us, again I'm sorry about this issue. Would it be possible to share the details of these tests you did on your end too? This may gave us further insight to the issue.

    I've updated the title of this post as this does seem to affecting Australians primarily.

    There is what it showed on the screen for the connection test

    SSID: name of my router 

    Obtain IP ADDRESS: Successful

    PlayStation Network Sign-In: Successful

    NAT Type: Type 2

    Connection Speed (Download): 2.1Mbps

    Connection Speed (Upload): 69.3 kbps

    Hello Roger.

    This bug occurs every time (100%) of the time I try play online (Offline stuff like The One and play now work but no online modes work). It suddenly started working when the JessertheLazer events and QJB were on but hasn't worked since.

    I'm playing on a wired internet connection and using a PS4.

    I'll give you my results if they may be the problem.

    Obtain IP Adress: Successful

    Interent Connection: Successful

    Playstation Network Sign-In: Successful

    NAT Type: Type 2

    16.2mbps down

    1.7mbps up
