The server status still says active. I would think they would at least keep it up until they released an official statement about a possible live 24. I can usually get in if I change characters and then go back to my original character and go to live run it'll work. Or if I keep trying to enter a private lobby it'll eventually work. You're probably right though. EA staff closed my case saying they can't fix bugs. So idk what exactly they do. I did find another forum for the NBA games and I've posted the complaint on there as well

    there is no new live coming anytime soon...they can't make a new live without a sporting license lol...they've been said this 2 years ago that they aren't focusing on sports game any time soon or in the future...also the only dedicated server shut down in May earlier this year so it was only a matter of time...the server is based of "peer" connection...meaning the players connection not the server..server is still up but don't mean it will work properly for everyone on the daily as if someone was doing daily maintenance & monitoring it....AGAIN THERE IS NO NEW LIVE COMING...enjoy the last few months we got on the game until they finally discontinue this game that is way overdue to be shut down...
