Android app crashes while waiting for tip-off. Only since latest update

I've ran the game on my Asus Transformer Prime TF201 running on Android 4.1.1 for about a month without any problems. But since this weeks overhaul I can't get any game to start. I can visit the store, change settings, complete sets etc, but when I want to start an actual game, the app crashes just when you get ready for the tip-off. I can still run it on my iphone but I prefer to play season and h2h on my tablet. I've powercycled it, uninstalled the app and reintalled it. All without any success.
