Thanks for giving us a heads up on this, @napoellis!

I want to make sure it's not hardware related because we're not seeing a widespread amount of reports here just yet on it, can you try these steps below and let us know if they helped? Let us know what specific type of Android device you play on too.

FYI: If you synced up to your account to Facebook/Apple/Google your progress will be preserved when you re-install the app.

I tried all of the troubleshooting options and the problems of the lag/slow motion still remain and I play on an LG G Flex 2.

@EA_Blueberry I also have the same issue.
I'm playing on a tablet with android 7.0, 2gb of ram, cpu MTK MT 8167 version at 1.3ghz.
Last season I had no issue at all, just this season. It's awkward 'cause when I start the app, the speed is faster than normal, but after browsing the menu a few times, it gets slower and slower.
I've tried every troubleshooting options and it doesn't get better.

My device is up to date too, at least from the vendor side. That's the info I get when I update the system, from the tablet settings.

I suspect it might be an openGL issue, but I don't know how to check the version my device.
Was last season built on openGL 3.0 too? I also have played Fifa Mobile for this season and it runs smoothly.

With this new Season Open GL ES 3.0 is required. What is the exact model of your tablet?

System Requirements

You’ll need an Android device with Open GL ES 3.0, an iOS device with at least iOS 11, and 1GB of RAM to play. This is equivalent to Samsung Galaxy S5 or iPhone 5s.

Looks like a good tablet to run the game. Have you tried reinstalling the app or tried switching to a different WiFi channel if your router has it? (2.4Ghz or 5.0)

I get it while using my 4G data, wifi at my school, my house and any type of WiFi network
