Hackers deprive regular users from game access causing "unknown error"

Currently, participants in 12 of the top 100 leagues are experiencing issues accessing their accounts due to an "unknown error." It appears that hackers have devised methods to either create "attack" leagues or infiltrate existing ones with compromised accounts. When tournaments commence, these hackers execute a strategy that disrupts the functionality of the league, rendering all participating accounts inaccessible.
My estimate suggests that over 600 gamers are unable to log into the game as a result of these attacks. The effect lasts 7-8 days.
Regarding Electronic Arts (EA)'s awareness of this situation, it remains unclear whether they have been informed. Their response and the seriousness with which they will address this issue are also yet to be determined.
I have attempted to contact EA's support, but found the process to be ineffective for resolving this matter.
I am available to provide further details or assistance regarding this situation.
