Thank you for the reply. Here are the answers to your questions
1) I am playing on an iPhone 14. Before that it was an iPhone 13 mini. (iOS)
2) I have version 8.1.00. Do believe that is the most recent version as that’s what is available on the App Store
3) This has been an issue since the start of season 8. I was able to play the training ground live event in season 7. As previously mentioned, I even left my group and tried “joining” to see if that would unlock the event but it didn’t.
4) Current iOS version I have is 17.2.1. According to my device I am up to date.
I have included a screenshot showing I still don’t have access to Training Grounds, as well as joining a league & my level being over 10.
Well, unless you have a limited time event that also gives points for playing the league training ground event in the today events, it is not that cool. I have like 56 of these message box looking tokens and i dont even know what they do lol.
The reason I am replying in this thread is because I have an issue that I believe is related to your issue...
For me, In the section Campaigns>Volume 6>Events 14-19 are unplayable. They are locked. If you navigate to the next event (14) it has a checkbox labled "Win a league match" that is not checked. However, I have won a lot of league matches both against members of the league I am in and in league tournaments. If you navigate all the way back to the main dashboard or home screen; along the bottom there are tabs and one is labled objectives. If I go into the objectives and then use the drop down arrow to have it display Rising Stars, you can see right at the top that the volume 6 events 14-19 are reflecting "unlocked" status. However underneath that sentence it says Join a league.
I contemplated disbanding and rejoining my current league but after the stuff I read here I will just try and hold off for a resolution from EA since that didnt work for him.
I can provide screenshots if neccessary but I think I described this well.
I am also on iOS. Both the phones os version and the games version are the most up to date available.
Can you guys please patch this? I would really like to have the SGA card reward.

Final thoughts... Can you please start making cards of some other players instead of the same ones over and over? (James, Markkannen, Paul, Capela, Doncic, etc.)
There are other players who deserve represented... what about Lomelo Ball? Asaur Thompson? Nic Claxton is a defensive monster- he should have been the defensive demigod. What about cade cunningham? What about that goofy polish guy for san antonio who resembles play style of Rodman, their now point guard? What about Primo...? Come on guys, im sure others are also thinking "why the heck do they keep making klay thompson cards". If you ask me Claxton is the best center in the game.
I’ll admit the training grounds live event is one I don’t play much outside of during the promos where you get points from it or when I want to get the weekly score 150 points in any mode.
They supposedly help you get rewards in the league like stamina & coins but for me it’s just the mindset that well most everyone else has access to it. Why can’t I? In Season 7 I started well over level 10 & was in a league at the start and the event was unlocked so yeah I just want this to be resolved.
Also will note that while I am nowhere near where you are in the campaign mode, I also see the same problem. I have won multiple league matches so it should be checked for me too. Granted because I left & rejoined my league perhaps I need to win another league vs match now. Or it’s just another bug that will go unfixed because the devs could care less. I know the reps can only do so much so this frustration is not on them.
I agree with you that it would be nice to see more variety in player cards beyond the same dozen or so players. I’m sure there will be a dozen Wemby cards this season alone.
Bumping this again as I know I am not the only one with this problem.
Can someone on the dev team actually do their job & fix this for me & everyone else?
While at it, fix the broken gameplay & make player ratings matter. No excuse for any 100+ 3pt shooters to miss so many open 3s.
that problem doesn’t affect the AI with their shooting no matter what the ratings are.
Also, can show some integrity & actually ban all the cheaters & cheaters teams in league play since EA states in their own TOS that cheating is prohibited.
