As far as AI difficulty, the team intended the game to be more challenging this year. That is the general answer to the question. I don't mind the AI scoring nearly all their shots, it makes me avoid making unnecessary shots from my end. However, there are times I wish I had some more offensive rebounds. That could make up for my misses.

Its still not fair gameplay. People like to lay back and enjoy playing a game, not be enraged by overpowering AI by guys who aren't that good in the real world.
I have noticed lately the AI doesn't seem as bad as last month, I don't know if it was adjusted, or my team just got stronger with higher ranked players?
Still, gone are those days I could finish a season game scoring around 80 to 90 points and holding the AI opponent to 0-11 points.

Apparently my 100 team can't hit a single shot from anywhere or out-rebound anyone on a 101 team.
I couldn't miss a 3-point shot with Steve Kerr in the game beforehand against some lower overall team, then couldn't buy a bucket against the 101s. Seriously, I missed 6 3s in a row, including completely open shots, had 0 rebounds, my team didn't even seem to attempt thinking about a steal or a block, however I got blocked out of nowhere about 4 times.... i had two of my dunks rejected, and just about every pass i did was intercepted.
It's only a matter of time before someone develops a game that's going to leave EA for dead and wishing they had have stopped screwing their clients over and only looking after those who pay the big bucks to win and everyone starts avoiding the EA name completely.
