Good morning. Anyone know if there is a fix on this? I too do not see the link button within settings. I have an 8 year old son that has played alot and made good progress. He has an older tablet with alot of miles on it that has shown signs of dying. I am trying to link to Google Play, as I am not a FB guy.
Does anyone else have any suggestions so he wont lose all his progress? Also, I downloaded the app on my different device and didnt see his progress at all. He has played as a Guest. I do have his UID.
Any help would be great. I am very nervous when i have to replace his device all progress will be lost.
PLEASE HELP!

If you opt to play as a "Guest" that will save all your progress to the device and it is not stored to the cloud. If you decide to login with Google/Facebook it will create another account to the cloud which is always recommended if you plan to use more than one device, uninstall the app, or prevent loss from a lost/damaged device.

If your son is playing on a guest account that progress is saved to the device and not the cloud servers, so if the game is uninstalled the progress will be lost. Since the data isn't saved to the cloud servers via Google/Apple accounts, it cannot be transferred to another device.
What I do recommend though is having your son write down his NBA Live User ID (located under Settings) that can be helpful for account recovery.
