Is this still the case? I am able to swap my bench players for any player on my team.

Yeah it's still a case. I can't swap Murray out for Curry. They tell me it's because of my COACH or he's just not eligible to sub which is not right. If you see you can see who I can sub or swap him for but when I click on "all items" Curry appears. But he doesn't appear on my bench. My point is I'm paying customer and I should be able to swap for whoever I want. Whether he's got lower numbers or not. It's who I WANT, not who EA wantw me to play.
Are you sure that the Curry you have is not a Classic player. If so, he won't appear on your bench in your NBA lineup. You can only play him with your classic team.
