That sounds frustrating if it's happening right when you load up arena. There are something steps that can be performed to help avoid this though, have you tried restarting your device and local network if you're playing on a WiFi connection? That can help!
If your router has the option to change to either a 5.0 or 2.4ghz channel, try switching to the other channel on your device's WiFi setting. The other setting just might have better connectivity to our servers from your location.
