ERROR 40010000 and corrupted save file
I am having connection issues with Need for Speed Heat.
The game works perfectly in offline mode, but I cannot access online features. I always receive messages saying I need to connect to my EA Account or that the connection was lost.
What I already tried:
-Verified game files on Steam
-Logged out and logged back into EA App
-Cleared EA App cache
-Reset Windows network settings (flushdns / winsock / ip reset)
-Changed DNS to automatic
-Restarted PC and router
-Tried switching from offline to online inside the game
-Tested the game using a friend’s EA account on my PC and the online worked normally
-My friend tested my EA account on his PC and the online did not work
-Deleted my local save and the online started working, but when I restore my old save the problem returns
-Performed full cache cleaning and ran sfc /scannow, but nothing solved the issue
Important: Need for Speed (2015) works online normally on the same PC and internet.
This seems to be a specific issue with Need for Speed Heat connection, account authentication, or server routing.
I haven't received a response from EA support yet. Steam says the only way to contact support is through EA. I don't know what else to do to fix this without losing my 150 hours of progress.
