3vs 3 DISC error costing title

We were playing in 3vs3 in the 10th game of the season with a 7-2-0 record. We played a team with 4 players including a goalie and we were winning 7-2 when all of a sudden they rage quit after a penalty shot goal. 
At the end of the game it counted it as a loss for an 7-3-0 record and when I check the recent game summery it says DISC. But shows 7-2 score. 

Not sure why this would happen when they quit. We clearly won 7-2 and this is a terrible EA issue.
