Acceleration is broken?

The acceleration attribute doesn't seem to be doing anything. This appears to be the experience of others I've talked to who have experimented with leaving it at minimum, and it's also my experience. Furthermore, I went into open practice with a teammate where one of us had 81 acceleration and the other had 90 (while our speed and agility were matched), and based on extensive testing we could detect no difference whatsoever.

Note that I can only speak to EASHL and that this claim is not based on solid evidence, only the observations and the unscientific testing procedure above. To me the acceleration attribute seems to either not be doing anything, or its effect is diminished to a point where you get zero discernible benefit from having the maximum vs minimum that the EASHL builds allow.

  • @Janikka It's always been a broken type attribute. Only works well from a stop but hustle gets you to max speed fast so it does so very little.

@KlariskraysNHL I'm saying (again according to my subjective observations and the testing in club practice mode) there are no discernable disparities despite a difference of 10 attribute points between two player builds. This even goes for when you don't hustle at all because we tested that too. It seems to literally do nothing at least when comparing 81 vs 90. In the past it has at least had a detectable effect, even if a minor one.

Again I want to emphasize that the observations and testing aren't solid proof so I'm hoping some people here will bother trying this out and reporting back because I think the attribute may actually not be working as intended right now.
