I have figured out how to fix this ANNOYING bug...play your BAP mode OFFLINE. For the past few months the game crashed on me a LOT...like almost every attempt to play...I have been in contact with EA and done all their troubleshooting steps, to no avail...still crashed...but then I remembered BAP doesn't NEED to be ONLINE...so I switched to taking my Xbox to offline and now have played an entire season with NO glitch! wooot! see if this works for you as well.
