Hello, @CHEE5EHEAD_5
Is this happening time you sim to your next shift?
I have the same issue. It seems to happen randomly.
I'll sim to the next shift and the announcer will say there's an own goal. There will be a faceoff at centre ice and the score has changed. When I look at the scoring there will be an unassisted goal by a player from the opposing team.
The team is aware of this and is investigating. When there's an update, we'll relay that here. Thank you!
Reported in November - it's Jan 2023 - and STILL NO FIX? Honestly, with the amount of bugs and crap that happens in Career mode one would think that EA has ZERO $$$ BUDGET for testing their games!!! This own goal thing happens almost every single game!! What a joke!
Career mode is so bad. I'm in shock that RF lends his name to this junk. I make a hit, a CLEAN hit and then Brady Tkachuk attacks me and whammo I'm injured for the entire game! Wha? Why? The amount of times your player gets injured is completely ridiculous!
The 'help' arrows say to cover the point so I leave the slot and then WHAMMO the AI scores with the guy in the slot!! Wha?
The shots on goal are 38-35 but the AI is winning 6-0 and R says my team has hardly any shots! Wha?
I'm on the bench to start a game and before the game is 3 minutes in Florida scores 3 goals!! Wha?
Honestly, if career mode in this game is targeted at 5 year olds then I guess it's good.
Advice - DON'T RELEASE A GAME WITH ZERO TESTING DONE AND ZERO SUPPORT!!!! BRUTAL!!!
I know your team is hard at work releasing new cosmetic packages for us to buy in HUT and CHEL but the own goal glitch still is happening multiple times per game when starting a shift or 0.9 seconds before a period ends in be a pro. You said in November the your team was investigating the bug and it’s now May and it’s still occurring frequently so when does your team plan on fixing the issue?
