I also have this problem plus another issue when serving penalties I sim to next shift it usually aims half the penalty even when I'm given a game misconduct it usually skips just a few minutes then I have to pause the game un pause to have to sum again after sums 2 mote minutes and have to do same again

As mentioned in my previous response, this most likely won't be addressed with NHL 23 since updates are now done. We'll have to wait and see if it's fixed in future games.
