Hello, @drewgriffiths
Thank you for posting this. I'll get it passed on to the team.

I think I’m experiencing this problem as well, or a similar version.
Sometimes when I simulate to my next shift, either team scores a goal but it’s an own goal every time.
The simulation stops, even though my shift isn’t up, to show a view of the center circle from broadcast cam and the scoring teams 2 D’s celebrating on the opp. blueline for a second before showing a close up of a distraught opposing player. The commentators claim it’s an own goal. Next the camera is back to normal for the face off and I’m still waiting for my shift and have to click again to simulate.
In one game this happened twice in a row… Simulation breaks for an own goal, after it’s done I press Simulate again and once more it breaks the simulation for an own goal. I simulate a third time and then it’s back to normal.
[edit] I had a look at the events and it does register a goal was made. When I review the replay, I see that the teams are getting set up for a faceoff in the other zone from where the goal is scored. The camera then abruptly switch to show the puck flying into the net through the goalies 5-hole. The puck seems to appear out of thin air roughly 5 feet in fromt of the goalie before blasting along the ice and into the net. There is also a D behind the net even though he is supposed to be at the other end of the ice, getting set up for the offensive zone face off.
I captured a video of the replay and uploaded it to youtube here: https://youtu.be/YfoHS-FpV4gI play on PS4

It’s Now May and the own goal bug in be a pro happens at least once every three to four games. I assume at this point the bug will not be fixed. Am I wrong?

I'm not optimistic this will be addressed in NHL 23, unfortunately.
