Black Screen After 1st Period on EASHL NHL 23

Question

More often than not, after the first period in a clubs game, we immediately get a black screen and are frozen on that screen. There doesn’t seem to be anything we can do to get out of that glitch.

For what it’s worth, we can control the quick strategy settings for the AI teammates, but that’s the only thing that comes up on screen.

I know this has been an issue in the past but I haven’t seen much about this yet on 23. Is there anything we can do to get through this glitch?

We’re forced to either out-wait the other team or quit and take the loss on that game. Neither are fun ☹️

Is this ever going to be resolved? The issue is in all game modes. It happens in Franchise, HUT, multiplayer, World of CHEL etc. This is ridiculous. We’ve had basically the same bugs for several years now and it seems that EA does not care to even look into resolving it. What are we paying for when we buy the game every year? No support and zero communication from EA.

3 weeks later and still no solution? Now we are in playoffs and black screen??? EA Sports it's in the game.&nbsp;
