Can we disable cross play somehow?
Its just unfun playing vs playstation teams. They get a super advantage on the ice and are so hard to poke, skate so much faster than everyone etc. Its super boring. Let us disable the cross p...

@KidShowtime1867 While it's true you can't see the other player's energy level, if I'm starting with full energy and a 5-10 point advantage in both speed and acceleration on my opponent I'd expect to be able to either pull away from them or catch up to them skating a straight line the length of the rink.
As an OFFLINE core player, all of these things you guys talk about makes me wanna steer so far away from ONLINE you have no idea, lol !
When you guys are not talking about Metas, Spammers, Ballerinas, disconnections, arcade sliders presets, etc… And now the cross play disadvantages… You guys make a strong case for me to stay the hell away 😆

It's a constant cat and mouse game playing online. It can be frustrating when coming up against constant LT abuse, Puck ragging etc - but then there are rare moments where you have an EPIC game versus a human(s) that simply cannot be replicated by a CPU team/opponent.
That's why I keep coming back for the abuse.. the slight chance an epic game unfolds lol

I can relate, also what Aljo said about "online play offers a totally different level of competition".
Thoose two in combination was enough for me to get back for some more.
But damn its hard to know when enough is enough.
