One game they are completely muted and constantly skate away from play. Then in other game, pylons but late-checking everyone taking 2 and 5min penalties constantly. They have messed AI totally.
bang on. I'm all in favor of the CPU A.I. not taking penalties, but this shouldn't mean they're complete pylons either. I feel a balance needs to be found there and the feedback from streamers is simply about balancing offense over defense.
All they had to do was take incentive/ aggressiveness away. Let them play positionally well. Add a small perimeter for AI (and tie to player stats?), if opponent comes inside this perimeter AI will engage normally until puck is played away. This would promote passing, but there’s still room on ice to dipsydoodleL2.

And that's just it; the streamers who want to LT all day don't want any responsibility in actually moving the puck. They want to possess the puck with one skater, attempting to bait their opponents in to making the SLIGHTEST misstep on D so that the incapable A.I. leaves their wingers open for a one-timer.
What fascinates me about the LTers who demanded muting the A.I. because it means "you're letting the CPU do all the work" is that they don't recognize that the CPU is literally parking those wingers in prime positon FOR THEM. And they don't see the hypocrisy in that.

They've been this bad for at least 3 years now.
